Partnering in Compassion: Acton Methodist Church + Rancho Brazos Community Centers

At Rancho Brazos Community Centers, we are honored to stand shoulder to shoulder with Acton Methodist Church in meeting the most urgent needs of our neighbors. Through a monthly benevolence partnership, Acton Methodist provides dedicated funding to help families in crisis overcome short-term challenges that could otherwise become long-term barriers.

Together, we assist community members with fuel cards to get to work or medical appointments, emergency prescriptions, shoes for new jobs, and help with utility bills and other essential needs. These funds make a tangible difference for families facing temporary hardship—restoring stability, dignity, and hope when it’s needed most.

In addition to financial support, Acton Methodist Church generously provides the facility at 3701 Sundown Trail, Granbury, TX 76049, where we operate our free after-school Rec Program serving K–12 students throughout Hood County. Their partnership covers key infrastructure expenses, enabling us to offer a safe, nurturing, and enriching space where children can thrive each day after school.

This collaboration is a true embodiment of community in action. We are deeply grateful to Acton Methodist Church for their compassion, generosity, and unwavering support of our mission to uplift families and empower children across Hood County.
